Morning Care Contract

Morning Care is a supervised, safe place for students in grades Pre-K through 8 to work on homework, read, study for tests, finish breakfast, color pictures, complete a puzzle… before the start of the day, 7:00-8:15 a.m. It is supervised by Mrs. Bohm and other teachers. Morning Care is held in the Student Learning lounge in the main school building next to the school library. Students will come in through the main school building doors and will be greeted by the teacher on duty for the day. Cost is $8.00 - 15.00 per session for prepaid registered student. Drop-in is available for $20.00 per day / per student in cases of emergency. Payment is made through the FACTS Tuition Management System.
    There are 38 weeks in the school year – not including Christmas, Easter, or Mid-Winter Breaks. Fees are tabulated over 38 weeks and then divided evenly over 10 months (September – June)
  • Morning Care Rules & Guidelines

    1. Students can arrive any time after 7:00 AM. 2. Students must come with homework to finish, a book to read, something to study, ready to color, or work on a puzzle or quiet game with a friend. 3. All students are expected to respect the rights of others. 4. Use a respectful level of speaking voice at all times. 5. RESPECT the learning environment by keeping it clean. Clean up after yourself. 6. Cell phones may not be used during this time. They must be shut off in the student’s backpack. If students do not respect this rule, the phone will be taken and returned to the parent. The student will lose the privilege. 7. Please notify the school office if you will not be utilizing morning care or will be absent from school for the day. 8. Students MAY NOT leave Morning Care for any reason without permission. This includes going up to their classroom or entering the main library. This measure is taken to secure the safety of your child.
