CYO

The Mission of CYO Athletics

CYO Athletics is sports done a different way – as one community. Individuals and teams strive for greatness, following Gospel values. To develop the whole person, we teach success is not measured solely by the scoreboard but by the effort, team play, and fun of the experience.

The Soccer and Cross Country seasons are almost upon us!

A parent from each household must take this “PLACT” Zoom parent workshop before registering their child. If you completed this last year or coached with us last year, you are set.

Parent Like A Champion (PLAC) Workshop – Register here:
Seattle CYO Athletics (teamsideline.com)
To register a child athlete in a CYO Athletics sports offering (Grades K-8), it is required that one parent/guardian register for and attend a Parent Like A Champion Workshop. The workshop is offered virtually via Zoom and must be completed before registering a child for an upcoming sports season.

To ensure access to the online workshop and receive an email with the Microsoft Teams Meeting Link, registration is required 24 hours before the event.

NOTE: Coaches who have already completed the Play Like A Champion Today coaches training are not required also to attend a Parent Like A Champion Workshop. Therefore, if a parent/guardian would prefer to complete the coaches’ training rather than complete the Parent Workshop (in anticipation of coaching at some point in the future), this is an acceptable alternative.
