7th Grade raises money for Heifer International

St. Monica’s 7th grade class raised money for Heifer International by putting on a carnival in May.  They were able to raise enough money to donate 1 goat, 1 sheep, 2 flocks of chicks, 1 flock of ducks, and 2 honeybee hives.

Giving an animal is like giving someone a small business, providing wool, milk, eggs and more. Animal donations can provide families a hand up, increasing access to medicine, school, food and a sustainable livelihood.

We are so proud of our students working to help end hunger and poverty in the world!
